“Swing on This” opened its exclusive new show on Saturday 7th January. Brilliantly accompanied by an 18-piece Big Band, song and dance stars Michael Falzon, Luke Kennedy, Rob Mills and Ben Mingay blew the audience away with their incredible energy and raw talent.
What a show it was! “It’s a New Day” in traditional Bublé style opened the show and this magic quartet managed to keep the audience mesmerised till to the end with beautifully synced harmonies, leading to a standing ovation to Frank Sinatra’s classic “I did it my way” as a finale.
It was also a show packed full of surprises, including a fabulous surprise performance from the leggy lady diva songstress herself Miss Rhonda Burchmore. As usual this gorgeous red songstress was a knockout!
Also on the bill of surprises were the remarkable Queensland based male tap dancers (aged between 10-13 years) who delighted the audiences big time!
The combination of clever scripting mixed with fun on-stage antics between the famous quartet and superb song selections further added to the richness of the production….. It was perfecto all the way and The Big Band…. It was Swinging!
This is a show you want to see again! The Hush Hush is they are working on a new project already….
It will definitely swing again folks! Watch this space…
