To celebrate the launch of A PLACE TO CALL HOME season 4 coming to showcase on Sunday September 11at 8.30pm, Foxtel, Seven Productions and News Life Media are proud to present a colouring-in book inspired by the hit TV series.
Step into the much-loved television drama with this gorgeous colouring-in book which invites you to put your own creative spin on more than 30 delightful and intricate scenes inspired by the series.
“It’s a delightful way to pass the time while waiting for the new season of A PLACE TO CALL HOME to come to showcase on Foxtel,” said series star Marta Dusseldorp.
“In A PLACE TO CALL HOME we have created a world where life goes by more slowly. The textures and patterns of everyday life in 1954 rural Australia are a large part of what makes A Place to Call Home so special and they are beautifully illustrated in this book and just waiting for a splash of colour to bring them to life,” said Fiona Donovan Production Designer APTCH 3 & 4.
“It’s not every day that you get asked to create a colouring-in book inspired by a television series — it was a great project that illustrator Daniella Germain and I both loved working on. Spending time on the set to research the images was very inspiring and I think fans will appreciate the detail in Daniella’s drawings — even the books on the shelves are exactly as they are on the show,” says Victoria Carey, editor-in-chief of Country Style.
Season four’s cast includes Marta Dusseldorp (Sarah Nordmann), Noni Hazlehurst (Elizabeth Bligh), Brett Climo (George Bligh), David Berry (James Bligh), Abby Earl (Anna Poletti), Arianwen Parkes-Lockwood (Olivia Bligh), Craig Hall (Dr Jack Duncan) Frankie J. Holden (Roy Briggs), Aldo Mignone (Gino Poletti), Sara Wiseman (Carolyn Bligh), Jenni Baird (Regina Bligh) and Deborah Kennedy (Doris Collins).
