Davin Griffiths-Jones from the Channel Ten show “I Will Survive” has won a Mo Award (the equivalent of the American Tony awards) beating out The Wiggles, Dorothy the Dinosaur and Hi-5 for Best Children’s Show!
Channel 10 Reality Star from I Will Survive Davin Griffiths-Jones last night, Tuesday 28th May, won the Mo Award for Excellence in Live Performance for his amazing Children Shows. In his category were acts such as The Wiggles, Hi-5 and Dorothy the Dinosaur.
Davin was first nominated for a Mo Award way back in 1999 for Best New Talent. Other names that were at the event were Maria Venuti, Jon English, Soul Mystique from Australia’s Got Talent, Audio Vixen from X Factor and the legendary Geoff Mack and Davin’s I Will Survive co-star Nathan Foley.
Davin will be performing his Priscilla to Moulin Rouge Show next Saturday 8th June with 2 shows at 7pm and 9:30pm at South Juniors in Kensington, NSW.
With rumours circulating about a revamped return of So You Think You Can Dance, I say Davin should be a front runner for the new ‘mean’ judge position. Anyone remember his incredibly entertaining remarks on I Will Survive?
So even though he was eliminated way to early – we can see who really was the winner and who indeed did “survive”!!
