You won’t believe your eyes! Or will you?? The critically acclaimed Circus of Illusion is about to brings its talented troupe of world-class performers from across the globe to the Gold Coast for almost three weeks of spectacular and mind-blowing performances under the big top!! Described as an “other-worldly fantasy”, the show fuses circus and illusion into a two-hour experience of whimsical wonder, mystery and pure dramatic spectacle! This colorful parade of top circus artists, clowns, jugglers, mimes, magicians and illusionists will perform under the Big Top at Mitchell Park, Southport from June 23 through to July 9 with TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

· New York ringmaster Ebon Grayman (former Cirque Du Soleil) heads the show and masterfully commands 100 per cent of the audience’s attention with ease – his character eccentric, funny and brilliantly created by a truly celebrated artist.

· Spanish visual comic, clown and renowned circus artist Duban Nickol merges classic-clowning with deft, clever antics – a LOL, modern day jester.

· French mime artiste, the brilliant Stephan Le Forestier, who studied with the legendary Marcel Marceau, will ignite imaginations with acts of stunning magic, mime and elegant artistry.

· Internationally acclaimed Illusionist and “Australia’s Got Talent” finalist Michael Boyd, presents brand new acts of death-defying escapes, incredible levitating ladies and ingenuous heart-stopping illusions never before seen in this country!

The Ring Master – New York – former Cirque Du Soleil, Ring Master
Ebon Grayman, born and raised in New York City and started gymnastics at the age of 15, he was recruited by Cirque Du Soleil for his acrobatic skills. After 7 months of his 3 year contract, Ebon was approached by Cirque Du Soleil directors and was offered the understudy of the principal character of the show, Monsieur Fleur. After 2 years as the understudy, he was offered the full time role of the character, which he held until 2003. Ebon also performed in Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity, where he held the role of Half Man/Half Beast, “The Faun” as well as an aerialist. He now resides on the Gold Coast and is a freelance performer and a circus and gymnastics instructor.

The Clown – Spain – Visual Comedy and Trampoline
Duvan Alberto Siles Lopez, known around the world simply as “DUBAN NICKOL”, was born in Pereira, Colombia, into a famous Spanish circus family.
It was a natural step for him to join his parents in their spectacular act with trained chimpanzees, as did his two brothers, William and Fernando, performing as the Niccolinis.
Then known as “The Nickol Brothers’, they became noted performers in circuses throughout United States, South America and Europe, including Zirkus Krone in Germany, Benneweis in Denmark, Bouglione France, Togni Italy, until the end of 1979, when William and Fernando retired.
Duban Nickol starred for 15 months in ”Inneuvre” at the Casino Conrad Jupiter on Australia’s Gold Coast, followed by engagements in Taiwan and Korean over successive years, and in the theme park Europapark Rust Germany. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiAHjeJLfzw

The Mime – France – Classic mime and magical Le Statue act
Visual illusionist, Stephan Le Forestier begun his career as a child performer in a French clown company. Later he practiced his art with Marcel Marceau for many years and joined him on stage as his assistant. He then went on to form his own company Mime De Rien. Stephan has performed his incredible act in Paris’ Famus show at Ceser Palace, La Nouvelle Eve and Le Lido

The Illusionist – Australia’s got talent finalist with the grandest of illusions
Internationally acclaimed illusionist and Australia’s got Talent Finalist Michael Boyd is back following his hugely successful “Cabaret De Paris” at Jupiters Casino, “Mystique” at Crown Casino and “The Ultimate Vegas show”.
His shows feature some of the world’s most impressive illusions (designed and built by the same team that work alongside the famous David Copperfield) as well as jaw-dropping escapes, levitations, transformations, special effects and mind blowing disappearances, Boyd’s incredible productions will surprise and delight.

The Aerialist – Gold Coast – Grace and Beauty – Silks, Lyra and Spanish Web
Elissa Cadwell trained at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence in partnership with the QLD Ballet and Kelvin Grove High School Brisbane, where she completed the RAD major exams. She started her professional career at 17 at the Moulin Rouge, Paris, and was one of six Australian dancers in the documentary Moulin Rouge Girls, which was nominated for an Australian TV Logie award. She continued as a lead dancer/ aerialist with contracts throughout Europe. Since returning to Australia, she has performed with Cirque Le Noir, Le Grand Cirque, Movie World, Anthony Callea, Wynter Gordon, Zoe Badwi & Luciana. She is an aerialist for Angelis Productions and Aerial Angels Australia in shows such as, Lumi Air A Cirque Extraordinaire, Zircus , Solaria, Cabaret De Paris & Outback Spectacular. Elissa is also a stuntwomen in the film industry – doubling for Blake Lively in The Shallows, Melissa George, Sophie Lowe and was Melissa George’s burlesque choreographer in The Butterfly Tree.
