GRANT BROADCASTORS TAKE OVER HOT TOMATO RADIO

Its on the news wire today that Gold Coast radio sale of 102.9 The Hot Tomato Broadcasting Company has been sold to Grant Broadcasters Pty Ltd licence and business.

Being two family broadcasters Grant Broadcasters Pty Ltd, established in 1942, owned and operated the group with a portfolio of 52 commercial radio station licences across the country.
Hot Tomato Broadcasting, is well known family, was established in 2002 when it purchased the Gold Coast licence at a federal government auction. 102.9 HOT TOMATO first went to air on 1 August 2003.

Grant Broadcasters CEO Alison Cameron says has stated she is “thrilled to welcome Hot Tomato to the Grant Broadcasters family.”

Hot Tomato’s Executive Chairman Hans Torv has grown the radio station and combined MYGC over the years and has been consisted in the growth of local market on the Gold Coast with his team.
