Leica Gallery Wetzlar opened the first photo exhibition of the artist Lenny Kravitz with a private viewing.
Yesterday evening, the photo exhibition „Flash“ premiered at the Leica Gallery in Wetzlar, Germany. In the presence of about 700 invited guests, musicians, actors and designers, Lenny Kravitz presented his first photographic work which has already been published by teNeues as an illustrated book.
With his photographs, Lenny Kravitz captures the essence of a life as a rock star who is constantly in the public eye and snapped by photographers, paparazzi and fans. The document pictures Kravitz’ world tours and offers an unusual insight into the nomadic life as a musician. All recordings of the series of photographs were taken with the camera system Leica M .
The exhibition is now open for public at the Leica Gallery at the Leitz-Park in Wetzlar from Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 08:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am until 08:00pm until end of August 2015. Admission is free.
