Everyone’s had the feeling, “I meant to go to that movie”; “I can’t believe I missed it!”
Now, Event Cinemas, selected Village Cinemas and Australia’s favourite chocolate movie treat* Maltesers are giving movie-lovers an extra opportunity to get out and enjoy the season’s biggest films before they disappear from the big screen forever.
`Maltesers® Last Chance Mondays™’ is a new program kicking off from February 25 where for just $12.50#, you can take in a final screening of a blockbuster movie with that movie essential, a packet of Maltesers to munch on during the film.
Sessions will be held every Monday night from 6.00pm at Event Cinemas and selected Village Cinemas nationwide, commencing with special screenings of two of summer’s biggest blockbusters, The Hobbit on Monday, 25 February and Les Miserables on Monday, March 4.
Matthew Graham from Maltesers parent company, Mars Australia says “The Maltesers® brand has been synonymous with cinema in Australia for decades and this new initiative, Maltesers Last Chance Mondays™ once again reaffirms its iconic association with the movies.”
The program will feature different films each Monday evening and movie lovers will even help decide what gets screened with polls on the Maltesers Facebook page.
