The Mayor Paul Pisasale of Ipswich will open the Markets on May 17th
The buzz just keeps getting better for the new OZ Night Market and it has had many happy visitors that are spreading the news since the soft opening launch on Anzac weekend May 26h.
Operating manager of the OZ Night Market Edmond Wong, is feeling quiet excited with the results that has Ipswich and outer regions saying “how good it is to have a market on a Saturday night that is undercover that suits all the family”, and you find that there is something there for everyone.
“It was wonderful to see all of this come together and to receive the feedback. The opening had thousands come to visit us and along with the all who make this happen with the stall holder have expressed how good it is to be part of this new market and it can only grow from here on.
Having over looked other markets Edmond Wong, began searching for the location that he could bring families together to experience a night out with delicious food of the world, arts, and entertainment with fun outlets for the kids to play.
With the kids in mind we always try to aim to keep attracting new playgrounds and we have a giant 12m high slide for the children at the official opening in the Carpark of Booval Fair Shopping Centre.
The Mayor Paul Pisasale of Ipswich, has been invited to not only open the night markets but to have a bit of fun as he is known for.
Mr Pisasale will be competing in a blind food tasting alongside Craig Moffatt who is the centre manager of Booval Fair. This will take place at 6:15pm and conclude at 7:00pm.
Who ever wins the guessing of the food Edmond Wong has donated $200.00 to go to what ever charity they like to choose plus a shopping voucher from Booval Fair.
The night markets start at 6.00pm every Saturday night and will have all sorts of things happening each month. Entry is only $1.
