PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK IS A VISUAL FEAST

PICNIC at Hanging Rock hit a rating high on Foxtel Sunday night, and rightly so as to this TV series remake of Peter Weir film.

From the moment you begin to watch you be drawn into a visual feast as its cinematography heaven, the details to just about everything to filming to the costumes designs are all stunning!

It is rich in talent in front of the camera to behind, and will give viewers all that they should wish for in what is going to be a exhilarating 6 part series that has sequence of clues to this adaption for TV to the disappearance of three schoolgirls on Valentines Day in 1900.
The cast leads are Natalie Dormer, Lola Bessis, Lily Sullivan, Kate Bradford. Triple treat and what must have been an experience for them to be directed by 3 directors
Larysa Kondrack (3 episodes, 2018) Michael Rymer (2 episodes, 2018) Amanda Brotchie 1st Ep.

I am half way through this top end production and one that I am sure I will return to repeat as it sure ticks all the boxes and more and is high end production.

PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK, airs 8.30pm, Sunday on Foxtel’s showcase. Full series streaming on Foxtel Now and Foxtel On Demand.
