Sad News on  Filmmaker Paul Cox Who Passed At  74

The sad news of the passing of a iconic Dutch-born filmmaker Paul Cox was announced today by The Australian Directors Guild in a twitter message.

The tributes of many who have worked with him over the years have been coming in through out the breaking news today, as he was regarded to many as unique and masterful in his direction of films.
His last film in 2015, Force of Destiny, starring David Wenham, is loosely based on the director himself. The intimately personal drama is inspired by Cox’s own experiences living with terminal cancer.

Paul Cox Melbourne-based daughter, Kyra Cox, turned to Twitter to express her grief today.
