Southport Gold Coast Is Open For Business

SOUTHPORT IS THE DESTINATION FOR ALL CHRISTMAS NEEDS AND FREE ENTERTAINMENT.

Last Saturday 30th November, was the official launch of Southport Christmas that was opened up by Councillor Dawn Crichlow,and MP Rob Molhoek. Southport is now being looked at the new hub corner in Gold Coast, and it wants to share its excitement now that the constructions are gone! The light Rail is active, and retailers are ready to welcome shoppers back and families, plus visitors to experience what Southport has to offer. Cr Dawn Crichlow, is very excited and after a long time of construction we need now to have everyone come to visit, and make Southport alive with the buzz of what is happening here and to come.

For the next 3 weeks until Christmas eve it will have a feast of activities throughout Parklands, Marina Parade, to Southport Mall, Australia Fair, that will feature a range of street performance including dancers and musicians that are organised by Fretfest, as well as activities run by GC Council, Library, and RSL and community groups.

Leading up to the end of this week 8th December some of the actives that are free to the public, will be music from 12noon till 2.00pm outside the Southport Tafe Building on Southport Mall, Nerang Street, as well as 
Weekly Saturday makets that feature fresh, high quality local seafood and produce, plus a range of fun family activities and entertainment including Segway rides Parklands Marina Parade. Sunday 8th December is Kids Disco in the Rockpools
 is on offer to the latest kids music, loads of party games and non stop fun!

 8th December is Titans Members Christmas Party 
Enjoy activities with the Titans squad, live prize draws every half hour, get a free gift from Santa and free carnival rides. Non members can join up on the day. The big highlight this Saturday night 7th December will be the Mayor Christmas Carols which is on the Green lawn and will be presenting with special performances from Paulini, David De Vito, Anna-Maria La Spina and a host of other local talent and Fireworks.
