The Arts Centre Presents Confessions of a Control Freak

The Arts Centre Presents
Confessions of a Control Freak – Saturday 26 July

A co-production between Belinda Raisin and the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts

A comedy cabaret for the over-committed.

Frances is caught in the rat trap of this multi-tasking, multi-vitamin, multi-media modern era. When she attempts to trade now now now for a little namaste, her carefully controlled existence rapidly unravels, revealing the virtues of procrastination and the joys of mixing yoga and alcohol.

Following successful runs in Melbourne and Adelaide and a hometown sell-out season in 2013, Confessions of a Control Freak is back to kick off a new Queensland tour.
Don’t miss former ballerina and self-confessed control freak Belinda Raisin (Rabbit, April’s Fool), joined by pitch-perfect pianist Jamie Teh for the utterly entertaining cabaret that Australian Stage adored for its “completely engaging marriage of graceful, gangly physical humour and moving honesty.”

‘Loads of fun’ – XS Entertainment

‘Funny, quirky & heart-warming…OH-SO-RELATABLE’ – Adelaide Now
