Brisbane Set To Celebrate The Opening Of Australia’s Biggest Joint-Venture Family Entertainment Centre
This Saturday: Timezone & Zone Bowling Opening in Westfield Garden City (10am – midnight)
Brisbane is in for a seriously fun-filled future: it will soon be the home of Australia’s biggest joint-venture family entertainment centre as two of Australia’s most iconic entertainment brands: Timezone and Zone Bowling merge . At an impressive size of 3,300 square metres, this brand-new venue, will open from 10am this Saturday, located on Level 2 in Westfield Garden City.
“Most people have fond memories of going to Timezone or Zone Bowling as a child,” says Chris Bavin, State Operations Manager Queensland. “We have created a family entertainment centre that encourages friends and families to make even more of those memories. It combines the best of both brands, delivering the most exciting experience our guests could have in an environment that encourages fun social outings in a welcoming atmosphere.”
It’s no surprise that Westfield Garden City is the chosen location for such an ambitious project, given their shared values of family and fun. Says Richard Heinz, Regional Manager QLD Centre Experience at Scentre Group: “We are thrilled to welcome Timezone and Zone Bowling to Westfield Garden City, offering our customers yet another unique entertainment experience and reason to visit our centre.”
Timezone & Zone Bowling Garden City guests can look forward to more than 130 of the latest, greatest arcade games, “Krazee Wh!rl” Bumper Cars, Laser Tag and Mini Bowling (perfect for families with young ones). All of this is set in a modern, vibrantly lit space. However, that’s just the start of the fun: Timezone & Zone Bowling Garden City ups the ante with 14 full-scale bowling lanes, solving all birthday and end-of-year office party challenges in one impressive sweep.
After a long day’s play, guests can enjoy a relaxing drink or snack at the family friendly sit-down café. The cherry on top of the day’s experience? A visit to Timezone’s legendary open prize shop to bask in the warm glow of rewarding yourself with a covetable prize.
Timezone & Zone Bowling Garden City will be manned by an experienced team focused on excellent service and keeping up to date with the latest technology and games.
“Time is something that we all struggle to find more of nowadays. At Timezone and Zone Bowling you see people spending good quality time with each other,” says Bavin. “Their phones are in their pockets and they’re really enjoying each other’s company. We pride ourselves on offering a safe, welcoming environment that our guests can enjoy, whether it’s 9am in the morning or 12am at night.”
Timezone & Zone Bowling Garden City will open its doors to the public this Saturday, 16 January – still within reach of Valentine’s Day. “I would definitely recommend Timezone & Zone Bowling Garden City as a good date venue,” smiles Bavin. “What better way to impress your date than to win them a giant bear, or challenge them to a relationship-building game of bowling or Laser Tag?”
According to Kane Fong, General Manager of Timezone and Zone Bowling Australia, “People have a real desire to come together to socialise and share experiences that bond us closer. Our dual-branded Timezone & Zone Bowling stores excel at providing in this need: we’re about family, friends, fun and memories. We aim to provide safe, inviting spaces packed with the opportunity to create fond memories – the kind that will last a lifetime. And we’re excited to bring this unique brand to the Brisbane community.”
