Christmas Carols Domain Has Sunrise Team Return

Sunrise stars return to host Woolworths Carols in the Domain
After making their Carols debut last year, Seven’s David Koch, Samantha Armytage, Natalie Barr and Mark Beretta will return to host the 2015 Woolworths Carols in the Domain.
The Sunrise stars will be joined by Carol’s best ever line-up of entertainers to share some Christmas cheer with Australian audiences.
He is the man who has had the whole country talking, as audiences
were mesmerised and wowed week after week by the 19 year-old singer-
songwriter from the Gong, who managed to beat some of the best
singers the show has ever seen. Fresh from his epic win of 2015’s X Factor,
Cyrus Villanueva will continue his amazing journey, as he makes his debut on the Woolworths Carols in the Domain stage.
Joining Cyrus is multi award winning opera star Teddy Tahu Rhodes. His international career has seen him take to the stage with some of the most prestigious opera companies and ensembles in the world, including performances at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the BBC Proms, wowing audiences in productions such as Don Giovanni, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Streetcar Named Desire, Carmen, South Pacific and The King and I.
As one of Australia’s more recent emerging talents, this singer, songwriter, producer has forged a solid career with his soulful signature sound; an eclectic mix of funk, R&B, rock and pop that has led him to ARIA chart success, and saw him nominated for Song of the Year for “Live Louder” at last week’s ARIA awards. There is no doubt that Nathaniel Willemse will be a carols favourite!
They can dance, they can sing and they have toured with the biggest names in music including Chris Brown, Pitbull, Janet Jackson and One Direction. Add to that their own share of chart topping success including two #1 ARIA singles and you have one of Australia’s most successful music exports. Lukas, Paulie, John, Lenny, Samson and Solo, better known as Justice Crew, are sure to get the Carols crowd dancing.
There is no doubt that Carols has something for everyone! What started off as a “one night only” event for the 2014 Adelaide Cabaret Festival has become almost as legendary as the music they sing. Swing on This is Michael Falzon, Rob Mills, Luke Kennedy and Ben Mingay paying homage to some of the greatest rock and pop songs of yesteryear and are sure to bring Christmas into full swing!
For those that want to avoid the crowds, queues and maybe even missing out on getting into the event due to capacity crowds, there are still a limited number of VIP tickets available.
These tickets guarantee Carols goers priority seating, their own beach chair and songbook. VIP tickets are just $99, and are selling fast.
People at home can watch the telecast on Channel Seven from 8.30pm on Saturday, December 19 or listen to the simulcast via our official radio partner smoothfm. The Woolworths Carols In the Domain official songbook will be available in New Idea on stands December 14.
