JMC Academy Brisbane celebrates launch of second campus and 10 year anniversary

JMC Academy Brisbane honoured two special milestones in 2018; the opening of their second South Brisbane $10 million new campus and the 10 year anniversary of JMC Academy in Brisbane. Both of these occasions were celebrated at a special event on Thursday 15th March.

The evening commenced at JMC Academy Brisbane with formal presentations by JMC Academy’s Managing Director, Dr John Martin Cass and the Australian Council for Private Education and Training’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Rod Camm.

Hosted by Hit 105’s award-winning breakfast team: Stav, Abby & Matt, guests toured the new campus and were treated to special performances by JMC Academy’s current students and alumni during an exclusive rooftop cocktail reception. The night was concluded with a drone operated by JMC’s Film & Television alumni capturing images of the celebration and new Brisbane campus.

The new $10 million, state-of-the-art creative education facility located at 69 Grey Street South Brisbane boasts 7-floors, a new library, expanded study areas, creative collaborative spaces and an additional 17-fully equipped practice and ensemble rehearsal rooms spanning over 2-floors.

Established in Sydney in 1982, JMC Academy has been offering higher education Degrees and Diplomas in the Creative Industries to passionate and talented Brisbane school leavers for just over a decade and has seen over 15,000 students graduate from the Academy nationwide.
