Ravishing Fashionistas in its 4th year has continued to spread the RF message of female empowerment by encouraging women to embrace their body confidence, irrespective of their age, body type, background, skin colour or culture. Founder and organizer Upma Kite and her team have once again worked hard and were challenged with weather conditions but were lucky that the rain held off and managed last-minute changes. This year showcased some stunning Spring-Themed fashions on a diverse array of gorgeous models in all shapes and sizes once again proving that all women can be a model in their own right.
The heritage columned entrance of Brisbane’s Old Government House, located in the centre of QUT Gardens Point, was elegantly lit with cherry blossom trees where guests were greeted as they walked the red carpet and with the flash of cameras over the course of the evening recording the event.
VIP guests were treated to an exclusive pre-party event in QUT’s top floor event venue Room Three Sixty, where the champagne was flowing and with a great selection of canapes while mingling and soaking in panoramic city views with live entertainment.
Brisbane well known City Councilor Vicki Howard who stood in for the Lady Mayoress was indeed taken by the fashion over the night as was Mr Fashion Statement himself man around town Damien Anthony Ross.
Ravishing Fashionistas opened the night with a collection of mesmerizing spring-themed looks showcasing a number of designers whose showstopping garments and millenary dazzled their guests with beautiful floral themes.
