A special screening for the locally made film Nice Package took place last Saturday at the Queensland State library. Director Dan McArthur along with Producer and Co-Writer were in attendance for what is the very first screening for the off beat Australian Comedy. The film stars Dwayne Cameron, funny man Leon Cain and newcomer Isabella Tannock.
The film which borrows from the likes of Tarantino and the Cohen Brothers, is full of quirky characters, great dialogue, a fantastic soundtrack and some great performances.
Nice Package received a warm audience reaction and the film has been submitted to a number of international festivals. 18 Degrees Entertainment has “half a dozen” other projects on the slate, but at present both Dan Macarthur and Mel Poole are in “India” working on a Bollywood film, over the next few months.
