The festival continues through September for the phenomenon that is A Midnight Visit
Local company, Broad Encounters Productions, has enchanted tens of thousands around the country and received rave reviews over the past few years. Now in their hometown, audiences are equally effusive, embracing this innovative production and demonstrating their love for a great night out.
Thanks to that overwhelming support A Midnight Visit is again extending and will now play until Sunday 26 September 2021.
We made a return visit and it is an experience that is full of amazing moving theatre with such creative edgy rooms, and the characters are such much fun and spooky. This is clever theatrics and it is a maze that unravels with so much to indulge in. Loved it more so that you can go back for more.
Kirsten Siddle, Co-creator and Director of Broad Encounters said “It feels as though A Midnight Visit was always supposed to find its home here in Brisbane. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be presenting this remarkable experience that blends forms, shatters conventions and inspires imagination. It appears that A Midnight Visit has become Brisbane’s ultimate night out.”
A Midnight Visit is like nothing you’ve seen before. It’s bold vision, playful possibilities, intricate design, epic scale and explosive energy present the perfect night out for Brisbane audiences who like their entertainment extraordinary.
A Midnight Visit is showing at 95 Robertson Street, Fortitude Valley.
The production is complemented by its own bespoke bar, The Raven’s Rest,
presented by Innocent Bystander Winemakers.
The Raven’s Rest features wickedly innocent wines, themed cocktails, craft beers and sophisticated light bites.
So captivated have audiences been by A Midnight Visit, that many have already booked to see the show multiple times. “I absolutely loved every minute of A Midnight Visit. So much so that my friend & I have been twice! Each show was different. Each of the characters blew me away . . . highly recommend to all who dare 💀” writes Brisbane local Melissa Harvey. While Tom Rogerson said “Outstanding in every way. The level of detail in the production of sets, quality of actors and stories. I really hope there’s a sequel show.”
