HHB: When did you start to sing?
AC: Started to sing when I started songwriting really as soon as I started lyrics I started melody and singing.
Who inspired you when you were growing up?
The britpop period really pushed me towards getting a band going as a young man. I listened to guitar bands from Quo to Nirvana, Del Amitri to Powderfinger
What is the range of music you like to listen to when you relax?
Anything indie rock I can relax to no worries
Tell us about your music and when you do write is there a process you go through?
The music that my band Commonside have played to me is mix of all the bands I listen to I love a great sounding guitar with good melodies and always try to strive for that when I’m writing.
The process is different I suppose depend on mood,what’s going on in your life what I’ve listened to that day. Sometimes I can write a song in 5 mins other times can take months to get it to work and sound right!

If there is one thing you could wish for what would that be?
To wake up knowing my job is to write songs perform and play with my band that’s the top wish apart from winning lotto!
Whats your favourite song of all time?
Song of all time is a tough one depends what but the song I could listen to again and again is “Come Rock With Me” by Status Quo from the whatever you want album 1979.
Where would you like to see yourself in 2 years time?
In 2 years time, happy, smile on my face and hopefully a big selling album to my name!
