Arts & Cultural Exchange’s (ACE) new Treasure Islands six-part web series explores ‘Pasifika’ culture and heritage from the Islands of Samoa, Fiji, Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea, Kiribati and Tonga, through the eyes of those born both on-Island and in Australia.
This collaboration with the Powerhouse has been led by ACE Special Projects Producer Victoria Harbutt and hosted by Pacific program producer Lalau Leo Tanoi, the series also showcases the Pasifika cultural belongings in the Museum’s collection. Each episode is between 15-20 minutes, with the first launching on Wednesday, 17 May with Samoa!
