
Bluesfest Byron Bay, the multi award winning 5 Day Festival, held annually over the Easter Long weekend just north of Byron Bay (EVENT DATES: Thu 24th March to Mon 28th March 2016) has been honoured with some impressive results in the mid-year report by international music industry bible, Pollstar.
Bluesfest came in at No 14 on the Top 100 worldwide concert grosses list, an incredible feat for the festival. The Bluesfest event site, Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm was listed as No 12 in the Top 50 Ticket Sales reported by Outdoor/ Festival Sites in the world.
In the Top 100 promoters list, Bluesfest was listed as Australia’s No 3 promoter based on ticket sales after Live Nation and Frontier Touring and beating out the Dainty Group, Adrian Bohm presents and Chugg Entertainment.
A very proud Bluesfest Festival Director Peter Noble says of the results, “Wow, what an achievement, these results really prove what level Bluesfest is at world-wide. Not bad for a lil-ole Hippy company from Byron Bay. ”
