Born in Sydney on 15th May, 1960, Rhonda Burchmore has been performing since the age of two. She trained in singing, acting and dancing and was awarded a scholarship to the University of New England where she majored in Theatre Arts. Since then, Rhonda has performed her way around the world over the decades and has gained a reputable status as one of Australia’s most loved entertainers. She has starred with Hollywood greats such as Mickey Rooney, Ann Miller and Anthony Newley as well as starred in a number of hit musicals. In January 2014, Burchmore was awarded a medal of the Order of Australia “For service to the performing arts, and to the community.” Rhonda is currently starring in the ABBA-solutely Fabulous shows across the country.
