Brewed at The PA Pub Goes International Partnering with Blue Moon
The next instalment in Jupiters Hotel & Casino’s sell-out beer dinner series, Brewed at The PA Pub, will have an international twist, partnering with US brewing company, Blue Moon.
On the back of huge success showcasing local and nationally-acclaimed craft beer labels, the venue will celebrate the multi award-winning brand on Thursday September 18 alongside a modern five- course pub-style menu.
Only two of the brews featured on the night are available for purchase in Australia with guests given the exclusive opportunity to sample the Blue Moon Rounder Belgian-Style Pale, Farmhouse Red Saison/ Flanders-Style Ale and Harvest Pumpkin Ale, not yet released in the country.
Along with Jupiters’ culinary team, the event will be hosted by David Coors, fifth generation of the founding Coors family who will share the company’s philosophy that “brewing is an art”. Originally from Colorado, USA, David relocated to Sydney this year to market Molson Coors’ brands Blue Moon and Coors in Australasia.
The night will kick off with Coors Lager and Prosciutto-wrapped Prawns with Chipotle Sauce, before Blue Moon’s very first and most iconic brew, the Belgian White, is served with a Pulled Curried Chicken Taco and Pico de Gallo. Leading the range in popularity, this refreshing, medium-bodied, unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale is spiced with fresh coriander and orange peel.
Next up, Brown Sugar and Pepper Cured Salmon with Bagel Chips, Caramelized Onion and Beer Battered Pickles will be served with the Blue Moon Rounder Belgian-Style Pale from the Expressionist Collection. Then for the main event, the Blue Moon Farmhouse Red Saison/ Flanders-Style Ale will be perfectly partnered with Southern Fried Pork Cheek with Peanut Caramel and Asian Slaw
The final ‘cheers’ of the night will be made with the Harvest Pumpkin Ale, crafted with pumpkin and spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice, while indulging in Grandpa Tossman’s Warm Pumpkin Strudel and Nitrogen Ice-cream.
