Number of expected attendees at Riverfire?
Sunsuper Riverfire is Brisbane and Queensland’s largest annual public celebration. This iconic Brisbane event is the finale of the 22 day Brisbane Festival attracting a “live” audience of approximately 485,000 along the banks of the Brisbane River in the South Brisbane and Town Reaches between the William Jolly and Story Bridges to watch the fireworks extravaganza.

Foti Fireworks International Qld launches over 5 tonnes of fireworks over 18 launch sites – 6 river barges (3 in the Town and 3 in the South Brisbane Reaches of the Brisbane River) two bridges (Story and Goodwill Bridges) and 10 City building rooftops. All river-based effects are to be contained within the exclusion zones established by Maritime Safety Queensland within the Town and South Brisbane Reaches.

Australian Defence Force is showcased on the day with aerial displays late afternoon by 4 Army Aviation helicopters (2 Tigers and 2 Taipans) and one FA18 Super Hornet.
