Gold Coast was graced with the likes of multi award winning International actress “Cate Blanchett”. Arriving yesterday to begin filming on Thor: Ragnarok as the mysterious and powerful new villain Hela.
Snapped at a Qantas flight with the family Edith Vivian Patricia Upton as son Ignatius Martin Upton walked closely behind with a nanny.
It is now in its second week of filming and fellow actors Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and the every loveable Mark Ruffalo having been seen to have shared some great social media moments on set and the eyes will be glued now as to another Aussie A lister to see if she joins in on the fun.
Speaking with ET, Ruffalo said Blanchett was playing “the worst of the worst” in the movie.
“She is going to kill us,” he said“ It’s such a great part she gets to play.”
The filming is due to finish in mid October and the excitement is surly shared world wide daily which keeps putting the Gold Coast on the map of filming blockbuster here.
