Independent Queensland Film Charlies Farm who has signed a contract for Sales and distribution Heavyweights SHORELINE ENTERTAINMENT for theatrical release through cinemas across USA. The Australian release of Charlies Farm will be distributed privately through the films investors on the 4th December 2014.

Controversial Australian Writer/Director Chris Sun comes his 3rd Australian feature film Charlies Farm; Chris Sun is a multi-award winning writer/director and SPFX artist with a total of 29 nominations for film around the globe with 25 wards.
Charlie Wilson will be Australia’s first true ICONIC KILLER and Australia’s first ever SLASHER FILM in the tradition of the greats, Halloween, Friday The 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Charlies Farm was shot on Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas and has an amazing cast coming on board from named US talent to some of Australia’s top up and coming actors and actresses.

Kane Hodder – Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989), Alligator II: The Mutation (1991), Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), Wishmaster (1997), Jason X (2001). Kane has millions of fans around the world from playing the role of Jason Voorhees.
Nathan Jones (Australian) – Police Story 4: First Strike (1996) as Hitman, Doom Runners (1997) as Vike, Troy (2004) as Boagrius, Tom-Yum-Goong aka The Protector, aka The Warrior King (2005) as T.K., Fearless (2006) as Hercules O’Brien, The Condemned (2007) as Petr Raudsep. Nathan is currently on set filming the NEW Mad Max film as a lead character.

The violent history of Charlie’s Farm is brought brutally to life when four horror seeking youths stumble across a legend that refuses to die.
SHORT SYNOPSIS:
In an effort to do something different, four friends head into Australia’s outback to explore Charlie’s Farm, the site where a violent family met their end at the hands of an angry mob. Despite all warnings, they persist in their horror-seeking adventure.
Once there, the four friends meet other transients and find Charlie’s Farm to be anything but horror inspiring. They are unaware that they are being watched.
While exploring the property to prove the myth they encounter Charlie, who shows them that some legends never die.
Special FX on Charlies Farm were by the AMAZING multi-award winner Steven Boyle from Charlies Concept artwork through to some of the most realistic props ever seen on Australian cinema.
Some of Steve’s credits include – Daybreakers, Bait 3D, 30 Days of Night, King Kong, Undead, Daddy’s Little Girl and so many more.
Charlies Farm is a four film franchise, we were offered to shoot in the USA and Canada but Chris wrote CF for Australia and to be an Australian film, so he chose to stay down under for this franchise.
