Newswire has hit that a large-scale acquisition deal involving multinational companies is often required to seek approvals from multiple countries. The recent Disney-Fox deal is one of them. Many have concerned that the deal would be challenged by the Chinese government, given the ongoing US-China trade war. Luckily, the deal just got approved by China without any conditions. This good news boosted both companies; stocks. Disney has said that it expects its acquisition of key Fox brands to close in early 2019.
