Releasing in Queensland cinemas from September 18, KANGAROO is a heartwarming new Australian family comedy inspired by the life of Chris ‘Brolga’ Barns, founder of The Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs. It follows former TV personality Chris Masterman, who finds himself stranded in the Outback and unexpectedly teams up with 12-year-old Indigenous girl, Charlie, to rescue and rehabilitate orphaned joeys—a life-changing journey for them both.
