Fashion Film Party Exclusive At Palace Cinemas

Palace to host exclusive first look at Anna Wintour’s most lavish party

On the night that the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York hosts the biggest event on the fashion calendar, The Met Gala, Palace Cinemas is proud to present its members with Exclusive First Look screenings of the year’s most fashionable film, The First Monday In May. The film offers unprecedented access to Vogue editor in chief, Anna Wintour, and Costume curator, Andrew Bolton, as they orchestrate the Met Gala’s most attended fashion exhibition in history, ‘China: Through The Looking Glass’. With its reputation for fine wine and fine film, there is no better place to see it in style than Palace Cinemas.

Filmmaker Andrew Rossi presents a breathtaking look at the opening night party of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibition, featuring legendary film and fashion creatives, including Wong Kar-Wai, Baz Luhrmann, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and Andre Leon Talley, and intimate access to contemporary pop icons like Rihanna. The First Monday In May explores whether fashion should be viewed as art, and captures the creativity, passion, and inspiration behind the exhibition and gala.
