Pacific Fair officially welcomed the colder months with their Autumn/Winter ’15 Fashion event “Re-kindle With Winter”. A host of local fashion guests from the Gold Coast and Brisbane, along side Gold Coast’s fashion it-girl and actress Jessica Green and blogging sensation Sara Donaldson from the popular fashion blog Harper and Harley.
Wonderfully hosted by Westfield Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, guests were treated to a fresh winter inspired menu accompanied with champagne while being showcased with what is going to be this seasons hottest trends in fashion. From coats, dresses and all the right accessories to complete the look, guest were really shown how to be the number one show stopper this season for all the right reasons.
Fashion Tip: If you want to make a statement this season, layer the same colour on top of each other, expand your fashion palate with the military trend and embrace clean cuts. These trends are what this winter is going to be all about!
After the mini fashion show, guests were treated to a perfume master class hosted by the Powder Room’s Samantha Taylor. Samantha explained the importance of a woman having her own signature scent and helped the fashionistas create a scent that was truly their own. Samantha also gave some killer tips on how to find your perfect scent – she suggests spraying the scent you wish to buy lightly on your writs, dap them together and allow for the scent to sit for at least 30 minutes. Continue to smell the scent during the 30 minutes and if you like the way the scent compliments your skin and personality, then you’ve found the one! She says this is important as each scent contains different ingredients (amber, musk, floral etc.) and will react differently on every woman because of the natural oils we already have on our skin. She also says every woman should have her day perfume and her night perfume, to compliment our moods, surroundings and personalities. With all of this handy information now in your possession, finding the perfect scent will be easier than ever!
Hot Tip: Niche fragrances such as Estee Lauder’s new collection which features ingredients such as sea salt and saffron and scents that tap more into a woman’s personality are set to be this years top trends.
