MAGIC MIKE LAST DANCE
Release date: 9 February 2023 (Australia)
Director: Steven Soderbergh
Distributed by: Warner Bros. Pictures
Mike Lane takes to the stage once again when a business deal that went bust leaves him broke and bartending in Florida. Hoping for one last hurrah, Mike heads to London with a wealthy socialite who lures him with an offer he can’t refuse — and an agenda all her own. With everything on the line, he soon finds himself trying to whip a hot new roster of talented dancers into shape.
If you are a fan of Magic Mike films then you will most likely favour this one as to the send off film. For me it was lacking lots of things as it was a dance off film that just highlights the two leads from start to finish and dancing boys with not much of a story. If you are in need of mindless thinking and have 2 hours to spare and like to watch dancing then go see this on the big screen as it always pays off to see it that way and to support the cinemas.
For Salma Hayek, she looks hotter than ususal aged now 56 years, and stated it was good to go to work each day and see half naked men strut there stuff; well half her luck I say! The film begins with her and Channing Tatum who does a very seductive dance for her and it is filmed well as is the entire film captured.
Over all it is what it is, and am sure it will attract an audience and lets face it, we all like to dream a bit.
