Made in 2022 drama film directed by Franco Nero and starring Nero, Kevin Spacey, and Faye Dunaway. This is the incredible true story of Emanuele Assuero, a blind artist who has the extraordinary gift of making true-to-life portraits just by listening to human voices. Nero has worked this well in front of the camera and behind as the main lead role in this film and his portrayal of Assurero. He gives a somewhat endearing performance and quite wonderful to watch him work this role. It is based on a true story and how it is written is quite appealing as to how you get to know his character and those around him.

The casting of Kevin Spacey’s comes as his first role after sexual misconduct allegations against him surfaced in 2017. He has a small role playing a detective, as Fay Dunaway is braille teacher who is an old friend of the artist.

The film was released in Russia on video on demand on 21 November 2022. It had its Italian premiere at a screening in Turin in conjunction with the Torino Film Festival on 5 December 2022. It was released in Italy on 2 March 2023.

Current version is in Italian with English subtitles.
An English version is being worked on.
