YOUR SHOT presented by Alcatel, the DJ competition which provides a unique opportunity for Aussies to transform their passion for music into a career, and has launched the careers of world-famous DJs such as Tigerlily, J-Trick and GO FREEK, has announced US DJ GHASTLY – as its 2019 Headliner for its Brisbane Event days.
Ghastly uniquely creates hybrid blends of house, trap and dubstep into a pot-pourri of bass. He pushes the boundaries of the entire EDM scene today, and a handful of the industry’s finest have recognised his talent including Skrillex, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Tchami, DJ Snake, Borgore, Zomboy, and Zeds Dead.
Also performing are Dippy, CHRIS RØYAL, eljae, Townsend and Mikki Blue.
The Your Shot Brisbane event days will not only see some delicious synths and experimental beats from Ghastly, but will also see YOUR SHOT and Wild Card contestants battle it out on the decks for the Your Shot title, as well as to win a set at an International music festival such as Imagine Festival, Hideout Festival Croatia, Snowbombing, Chasing Summer Music Festival, The BPM Festival or CRSSD festival.
The 2019 Brisbane Your Shot contestants were selected at registration days where they undertook interviews a matter of weeks ago when they had little to no DJ experience, but a serious passion for music. Since registration days, the contestants have undertaken a rigorous 6 weeks of training at The Academy with some of the industry’s elite DJ’s.
