GROUNDED by George Brant, is the play but by no mean down for the DIVA presentation by the Queensland Theatre Company’s LIBBY MUNRO giving a virtuoso performance as The Pilot.
Guiding The Pilot through the Blue and Grey is her Director, ANDREA MOOR, ably supported by a first- class Production team to tell us her story of the world warfare she is part of – overseas and at home.
LIBBY MUNRO is indeed a DIVA – a sole performer in command of her well-trained skills and emotional intensity giving us one of the most thought-provoking experiences in the theatre.
I recommend that, apart from regular theatre-goers, attending GROUNDED in the DIANE CILENTO STUDIO will enlighten those intending to make acting their career as to the enormous dedication, hard work and teamwork, needed to be the best in either theatre or on screen.
