HILARY DUFF TO VISIT AUSTRALIA FOR A PROMOTIONAL TOUR
NEW SINGLE ‘ALL ABOUT YOU’ OUT NOW
Hilary Duff announced today via her social media that she will be heading to Australia for a promotional visit next week. Hilary will be in the country to promote her new single ‘ALL ABOUT YOU’, taken from her forthcoming highly anticipated fifth studio album.
Hilary will kick off her whirlwind promotional visit with her first ever TV performance of ‘ALL ABOUT YOU’ on Channel 7’s The X Factor on Monday September 8th. As well as major radio and media interviews, Hilary will also perform on Sunrise on Thursday September 11th and make a fleeting visit to Melbourne before heading home.
As Hilary explains “I’m so excited to visit Australia again! This will be my first international promotional trip for the new record and I can’t wait to get down there.”
‘ALL ABOUT YOU’ was penned by Duff, Kristian Lundin, Savan Kotecha and Carl Falk and is available to purchase now from all digital retailers.
Hilary gained fame in the Disney Channel’s top-rated series Lizzie McGuire in 2001. Shortly after, Duff starred in numerous feature films including The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Agent Cody Banks, A Cinderella Story, Cheaper by the Dozen, and more serious roles such as co-starring inJohn Cusack’s critically acclaimed 2008 film War, Inc. and According to Greta, in which Hilaryplays the title character and co-stars with Oscar winner Ellyn Burstyn. Coming up, Hilary is set to grace the silver screen once again in her role as twenty-something Kelsey in TV Land’s newest original series Younger, starring alongside Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor. The series is written, executive produced and directed by Darren Starof Sex and the City and is based on the novel of the same name by Pamela Redmond Satran.
In addition to her acting, Duff also has a prolific global and successful singing career. As well as a string of hit singles such as ‘Come Clean’ and ARIA Top 10 Platinum single ‘So Yesterday’,Duff’s album METAMORPHOSIS (2003) reached #1 on the US Billboard 200 Chart selling four million copies including Platinum sales in Australia. Duff’s self-titled album release (2004) reached the Top 10 on the ARIA Chart also achieving Platinum sales. Overall, Hilary has sold more than 15 million records worldwide.
