Hosting Opportunity – Short Film Event at Gold Coast Show
The 2013 Gold Coast Show will feature a Short Film event to showcase the film making talents of locals.
We are looking for a communications student with personality plus to host the nightly film event from 4.30 to 6.30pm on the Friday and Saturday evenings at the Show (August 30 & 31)
Your role as host will be to:
Interview the film makers before the screening of their film. (background research will be required)
Introduce the films and encourage audience participation – to a crowd of around 400 people.
Your hosting talents and engaging film banter will also be shown on the big screen in the public arena of the Show.
You will be supported in your role by Gold Coast Show management and Creative Industries Gold Coast.
This will also be an opportunity for you to network with local media and film industry representatives.
