No Parole

Australian music fans would be surprised to learn that IamSnap is a Billboard-charting rapper/songwriter, actor, and award-winning producer with a noteworthy musical career spanning twenty years. The multi-skilled musician has recently landed spots on the Billboard charts on four occasions, with multiple top 10 iTunes tracks and his sick love music video a finalist at the Cannes Film Festival, Oniros Film Festival New York, and honourable mention at the Falcon International Film Festival London. The music video for his last release, Tillerman, also featured on MTV Australia, broadening the internationally renowned music artist’s home base.

The Canberra-based artist’s latest rap pop track, No Parole, has just been released, and it’s sure to repeat the success of its predecessors. No Parole yet again unveils IamSnap’s considerable creative powers, fusing pop, rap, and contemporary hip hop to create a typically hooky track with a revealing lyric. With numerous Billboard and Top 10 U.S iTunes Chart impacts to his credit, IamSnap has also written songs for countless artists, including Honey Shazad (Britain’s Got Talent), Noah Fonoti (X-Factor) and Chris Sheehy (The Voice Australia). IamSnap has toured extensively and shared the stage with such rap luminaries as Grammy Award winners Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and worked with artists Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Swifty McVay (D12), B.G. Knoccout and Dr Dre’s son Curtis Young. The first-person narrative featured in the lyric is highly charged and extremely effective.

With lines like, ‘These walls are all I see / this life is all I know / I been doin time at Folsom / haven’t seen the sun since I dunno,’ the reference to a classic prison-themed track also adds to the strength of the song. With previous radio rotation on MTV across NZ and AUS, Australian Radio Networks – THE EDGE, Grant Broadcasters – OZ MADE, Super Radio Networks – Triple G & 2MO and CRN’s BRL & Tune1, No Parole is sure to garner universal attention, generate notable media responses and recruit a legion of fans to his definitive style.
