Destination Gold Coast to Singapore flying with Scoot Airlines.
Travelling to new country and on new plane is always exciting feeling and one that I got to experience late last year as to a great little getaway with Scoot airlines who last year introduced the 2016 Dreamliner carrier 787.
The plane carries up to 375 passengers, it only leaves from Gold Coast International Airport which was the first time for me to process the leaving on an over seas trip instead of Brisbane. Checking in was fast and process was done quick throughout.
The carrier Scoot is known for being a low budget, and prices can range from around $600 return economy and in Business you can pay around up to $1400.00. They do alerts and best to be on newsletter as they do announce great specials with amazing prices like this.
The flight it self was good smooth and the comfort factor of the seats are all generous in space and can recline back and with neck rest, and a foot lift with leather seats. One note is to bring a pillow for extra comfort and pull over blanket and mask if wanting to sleep or you will need to purchase this on board. It does have the mood lighting and also denotes that it has fresh air and cabin moisture. The service is good and in Business you are given one meal choice with a drink, and then you need to buy what ever you are wanting for the rest of the trip.
Entertainment you can use Scoot WIFI and select some of the entertainment that they have which is a bit dated in selection. There is also mobile charger adaptor which is free in biz class.
Over all this is a great airline and owned by Singapore Airlines and it has great reputation for safety and is growing stronger.
It has some good destinations and last year they announced Greece and will launch in June 2017 and with amazing deals.
Our return trip home we arrived back an hour earlier and was able to sleep most of it, as you leave around 11,pm at night. The travel times are around 8 to 9 hours.
If you not been to Singapore Airport then take time to wonder, it is one impressive airpot that I have ever seen. The standards are what what Singapore are famous for, it is immaculate and just divine with their garden displays.
