Veteran producers Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins of Intrinsic Value Films have revealed a powerful new slate of films that span genres, generations, and iconic creative legacies. Teaming up with Head of Development Megan Freels Johnston, the producing duo are moving into a new era with three major projects — Mister Yummy, Gene, and Wham-O — all drawn from a newly secured portfolio of high-profile IP.

For more than two decades, Schoof and Robbins have built a reputation for distinctive, filmmaker-driven work with titles such as Queen of the Ring, Experimenter, and Blue Caprice. Their latest move signals an expansion into larger-scale, story-rich projects without losing the character focus and emotional depth that define their films.
Leading the new lineup is Mister Yummy, adapted from a short story by Stephen King (The Monkey, It, The Shining). The haunting tale follows a man confronting his own mortality, where death waits around every corner and regret becomes the ghost that never leaves. The screenplay is by Troy Blake (repped by Derrick Eppich), with Thomas Mahoney (Brian, Hello Out There) producing alongside Intrinsic.

Next comes Gene, a deeply personal biopic exploring the life and inner world of the legendary Gene Wilder, known for The Producers, Blazing Saddles, and Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. Written by Jeremy Roth (repped by Ben Neuman at Kaplan Perrone), the film is based on exclusive life rights held by Intrinsic Value, with the Gene Wilder Estate repped by David Shapira & Associates. The story promises to illuminate Wilder’s creative brilliance and his lifelong search for joy and meaning.
Rounding out the slate is Wham-O, the true story behind one of America’s most iconic toy companies. Responsible for cultural staples like the Frisbee®, Hula Hoop®, Slip ’N Slide®, and Hacky Sack®, Wham-O’s journey from backyard inventions to nationwide phenomena captures the humor, heart, and entrepreneurial spirit that defined an era.
“These projects represent the evolution of Intrinsic Value into a brand that celebrates great storytelling and discovery,” said Aimee Schoof, co-founder of Intrinsic Value. “After years of producing films we deeply believed in, we’re ready to bring those same values to a new scale.”
“Our focus is expanding, but our foundation remains the same,” added Megan Freels Johnston. “Every project begins with story, integrity, and the relationships that make filmmaking meaningful.”
The announcement follows growing festival momentum for Intrinsic’s latest feature, The Red Mask, which premiered to sold-out screenings at FrightFest London and Screamfest Los Angeles, emerging as one of the most talked-about horror films of the season.

Intrinsic Value is also developing new television projects rooted in genre and IP, as well as pursuing international co-productions. With this latest slate, the company reinforces its commitment to bold, emotionally rich storytelling that bridges art and audience — setting the stage for an exciting new chapter in its filmmaking journey.
