Jupiters Gold Coast Prepares To Open Late December New Outdoor Restaurant

Jupiters celebrates the beauty of the Gold Coast with new outdoor restaurant

Following the success of its highly popular dining experiences, Cucina Vivo and Kiyomi, Jupiters Gold Coast has announced it will unveil Garden Kitchen & Bar, its third new restaurant in less than 12 months.
Set to open in late December, the new venue will form part of Jupiters’ $345 million transformation and blur the lines between indoors and out, inviting guests to experience an eclectic mix of contemporary furnishings, cascading greenery and a generous dining area bathed in natural light.

Embracing the Gold Coast’s enviable climate and luxurious laidback lifestyle Garden Kitchen & Bar will open in the space formerly held by The PA Pub. The new venue will stretch across more than double the footprint and will follow the lead of Cucina Vivo by opening up with outdoor dining, a spacious deck and lavish bar area.

Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg said the new restaurant would showcase some of the best the Gold Coast has to offer.
“We are determined to create a place where locals and visitors can experience everything the Coast is famous for – to taste the iconic flavours of the Gold Coast, celebrate the City’s vibrant atmosphere and draw inspiration from the surrounding natural elements,” said Mr Hogg. “That’s what we envision Garden Kitchen & Bar will offer.“From the freshest, seasonal produce, to the very best in design that brings the outdoors in – it’s a place where food lovers, family and friends can come together any time of the day to enjoy.”

Designed by multi-disciplinary design firm DBI Design, Garden Kitchen & Bar will feature modern communal dining, a semi-private dining room for more intimate celebrations, an open kitchen, an indoor bar, and a sundrenched deck overlooking the property’s expansive lawn area and lush tropical gardens.

A bespoke outdoor room, heroic in scale and iconic in form creates a new face for the restaurant, inviting guests to retreat to a truly unique dining experience. Anchored in a lush garden setting, an abundance of foliage adorns the restaurant and aspires to bring the outdoors in, reinforcing the notion that the interior spaces have a freshness and connection with the fresh produce offering.
Construction of the restaurant is being managed by Buildcorp, with more than 100 tradespeople employed across initial demolition and construction.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the spacious new venue will be Jupiters’ largest restaurant and employ 110 locals including a variety of chefs, baristas, bartenders and wait staff. Recruitment is currently underway.

Mr Hogg said the team is extremely excited to be creating another new dining experience for locals and tourists to complement the existing restaurants Jupiters has launched as part of its transformation.
“Cucina Vivo and Kiyomi have both been highly successful since opening in December 2014 and it’s been incredible to hear all the amazing feedback each of the restaurants has received,” he said.
“It’s evident dining on the Gold Coast is coming of age. There’s a real ‘foodie’ culture emerging and that trend has become more and more apparent with the success of the City’s regional restaurants at recent awards.”
Garden Kitchen & Bar forms part of Jupiters’ $345 million transformation, which will enhance the Gold Coast’s reputation as one of the world’s top tourist destinations.

When complete, the redevelopment – which includes award-winning restaurants Kiyomi and Cucina Vivo, a fresh exterior look, and a new poolside experience – will see the refurbishment of the property’s almost 600 hotel rooms, a new six-star luxury hotel suite tower and an array of contemporary restaurants and bars.
