Naimo officially takes the reins on March 24, bringing with him an impressive track record in Australia’s entertainment industry. As a former Head of Online and Games at Screen Australia, he played a pivotal role in nurturing the country’s digital-first creative talent. His expertise in discovering and supporting emerging Australian comedians and storytellers makes him the perfect fit to spearhead Grouse House’s next chapter.
Beyond his industry leadership, Naimo is widely recognized for his work as a founding member of the musical comedy trio Axis of Awesome, whose viral success amassed over 200 million views online. As one of the pioneering Australian YouTube creators to break into international audiences, Naimo has a deep understanding of the digital landscape—an asset that will be crucial in expanding Grouse House’s creative vision.
“Ever since I met Aunty Donna in a mobile phone shop in Edinburgh in 2011, I knew I wanted to work for them,” said Naimo. “I’m absolutely stoked to be joining Grouse House at such a pivotal time.
