Logan’s most vibrant celebration of diversity returns this August, promising an unforgettable evening of flavour, colour, music and connection.
On Saturday 30 August 2025, the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct will transform into a global village for World of Cultures, the flagship multicultural event hosted by SSI. From 4pm to 8pm, visitors will be swept up in a kaleidoscope of sights, sounds and tastes that reflect the heart and soul of one of Australia’s most multicultural cities.
Now in its fourth year, World of Cultures is an official Multicultural Queensland Month event, shining a spotlight on the incredible stories, heritage and artistry of Logan’s communities — from First Australians and Traditional Custodians to migrants and refugees who have made the city their home.
The 2025 program is brimming with cultural richness:
More than 40 cultures represented
Over 300 artists and performers bringing the stage to life with dance, music and storytelling
A bustling marketplace of artisan stalls and world cuisine
Hands-on cultural exhibits and activities for all ages
For many, this event is more than just entertainment — it’s an opportunity to connect, learn and share in traditions that cross oceans and generations. The warm, community-driven atmosphere saw over 5,000 attendees in 2024, and organisers are preparing for an even larger crowd this year.
Past years have drawn the attention of high-profile guests, with Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers MP and former State Minister for Multicultural Affairs Charis Mullen MP among those showing their support.
With free entry, family-friendly activities, and an open invitation to explore the world without leaving Logan, World of Cultures 2025 is set to be a highlight of the city’s calendar.
