Singer/songwriter Louise Adams may not have been the type of artist you initially expected to see on The X Factor when you switched on your TV in 2015. However this bluesy, folksy, soulful performer managed to propel her way into the hearts of Australians who supported her all the way into the 2015 Grand Final, thanks to her refreshingly non-chalent and charismatic talent.

Louise’s musical purity and integrity made an honest heartfelt connection with audiences, and so it came as no surprise that Sony Music inevitably snapped her up with a recording contract, which has resulted in the release of her debut single ‘History’, and now her accompanying self-titled debut album. The album itself is a collection of songs Louise performed on the X Factor, alongside her debut solo single ‘History’.

Louise is excited to head back on stage with her full band, a group of talented musicians and songwriters handpicked by Louise. Audiences can expect to see live renditions of some of Louise’s favourite songs off her album, such as her single ‘History’, ‘Ain’t no sunshine’, and ‘Put a spell on you’ in addition to some new original music.

With her music career blossoming, the release of her album, songwriting and returning to the festival / live gig scene, Louise Adams is looking forward to harnessing the wave of public support and continuing to develop her own material for release in the future.

Her voice is unique; strong yet powerfully feminine. Along with her rockin band, she exudes a fresh vintage sound with flecks of blues, country, folk, soul & rock evident in her singing, song writing & music.
Compared to vocalists Eartha Kitt, Grace Slick, Janis Joplin, Florence Welch & Patti Smith; compliments Louise modestly brushes aside, but they hold true.

Louise is captivating audiences around Australia, performing at festivals like Woodford Folk Festival, Tamworth, Adelaide Fringe, Castlemaine State Festival and The Bendigo Blues & Roots, she has also played support for nationally and internationally acclaimed artists such as Boy & Bear, Mia Dyson, Jeff Lang, James Reyne, The Darling Downs and Melody Pool.

Louise Adams is a performer catching attention of listeners & industry with originality and style.
