MAGIC MONDAY AND ONE TO ONE WITH MAGIC MAGICIANS ASH MAGIC AND SABINE VAN DIEMEN

THE WORLD’S FIRST INTERACTIVE MAGIC SPECTACULAR
METAVERSE OF MAGIC FEATURING ASH HODGKINSON AKA ASH
MAGIC TO ARRIVE AT QPAC JANUARY 2024

Metaverse of Magic is a major new theatrical production combining spectacular
magic, breathtaking illusions, stunning stagecraft and cutting-edge technology have been
touring across Australia since November 2023, and will kick off at Queensland Performing
Arts Centre’s (QPAC’s) Concert Hall from 4 January 2024.

This morning I was delighted to be meeting two of the key cast of the magic show
online sensation Ash Hodgkinson AKA Ash Magic, who is Lennox, in the game-changing theatrical event.
We have a filmed interview that is one-to-one that is included on our Utube channel but I was delighted that Ash also did some magic for me and was assisting and I was, of course, stunned and thrilled to have this happen. Magic Monday Indeed!

Ash Magic is a magician, actor and entertainer who has
amassed an extraordinary 10 million followers on TikTok, close to 2.9 million
followers on YouTube and close to 200,000 million likes for his videos that have been
viewed over three billion times. In 2021, Ash starred as Henry Harrod in the
Australian drama series RFDS and in 2022 Ash also featured in Heartbreak High as
Ben.

The extra delight was to meet one of the very few female magicians who could have spoken all day with Sabine van Diemen. From the Neverlands Sabine told us of how she began and had previously performed in Cirque Du Soleil’s. Since then she has been on worldwide stages and speaks very frankly about what it is like to be in the field and it can be exciting and quite scary at times. Again looking forward to seeing Sabine in action.

The production also features a hand-picked variety of some of the world’s best
magicians, entertainers and large-scale illusionists including Tokyo’s HARA who
featured on the BBC series The Magicians and America’s Got Talent, past recipient
of the World Champion of Card Magic award Taiwan’s Horret Wu, Jarred Fell from
New Zealand, Australia’s own Charli Ashby.
