MARIO’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT IS THROWING A 30th BIRTHDAY BANQUET & YOU’RE ALL INVITED!
One of the Gold Coast’s longest standing Italian eateries, Mario’s Italian Restaurant is turning 30 years young this month and they’re set to mark the occasion with a huge family-style banquet on Thursday 29th August 2019 from 6pm.
The iconic Italian haunt has been located at The Oasis in Broadbeach since its very first day of operation on 29th August 1989 – in fact, they were the centres very first retailer!
Now, Mario’s is throwing open its doors to local lovers of award winning Italian cuisine for a traditional feast like no other!
Co-owner of Mario’s, Marlon Pirie, said they will be commemorating the occasion with a nod to the establishment’s Italian roots by transforming the restaurant into a traditional Italian feasting event.
“All are welcome to join us for this special celebration – mi casa es su casa”, laughs Marlon.
“There will be long tables of 12 so all our customers can celebrate and interact with
one another, as it’s all about family and togetherness, while paying homage to classic
Italian traditions”, says Marlon.
“We’re such a family-oriented restaurant, and we’d really like to hone in on that by encouraging our customers to enjoy the night with their families and friends”, co-owner Paul Ierna said.
The merrymaking begins with a hearty four-course Italian feast for $60 per person including pizza bread, a shared entrée platter, your choice of any main from the entire Mario’s menu and a delectable dessert selection.
“There were simply too many popular dishes to choose from, so we are giving guests the chance to choose their all-time favourite main from our entire menu”, says co-owner Andrew Dimattina.
Celebrations will ensue with live Italian entertainment throughout the evening and 30th Birthday drink specials including Aperol Spritz, Italian wines and buckets of beer.
And, it’s not a party without cake – so there will be that too! BYO stretchy pants for this Italian feast!
