JDL Men In Black Ball 2015
The annual Men in Black Ball wad hosted by Momentum Forum Events on Friday June 12th 2015 at Pan Pacific Hotel Perth. The MCs for the were Network Ten presenters, Tim Gossage and Chiara Zaffino.
Celebrating its eighth anniversary, the Men in Black Ball a black tie event raised awareness and funds in support of men’s mental health and the fight against depression through the Momentum For Australia charity.
Momentum Forum founder, Barbara McNaught, says “sadly depression is prevalent throughout the community and awareness must continue to be raised,”
“Men don’t talk, boys don’t cry. The stigma attached to this topic needs to be removed. I believe that since the inception of the Men in Black Ball in 2008, more men know that they are not alone and are more open about the topic”.
The event attracted over 400 guests each year from the political, sports, business, social and arts world in aid of this worthy cause.
