Mermaids Surface At Sea World
These School Holidays
The sea’s most alluring and mysterious creatures are surfacing at Sea World these school holidays with Mermaids coming to life at Shark Bay.
Sea World guests can experience the mysterious underwater world of Mermaids as they share the water with tropical fish, sting rays and other bottom-dwellers in the stunning Tropical Reef Lagoon.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks Head of Entertainment, Michael Croaker said this is an exciting addition to Sea World for the school holidays with the Mermaids sure to entertain crowds.
“For centuries we have been in wonder of the ocean and its mysteries and there has been no other mythology that has been as widely loved as that surrounding the many tales of Mermaids,” he said.
“For the very first time, the majestic underwater world of Mermaids comes alive daily at Sea World and we are excited to give our guests the opportunity to witness the wonderment of Mermaids in a magical display at Shark Bay.
“The Mermaids will be dancing in the water amongst marine life including fish, ray and shark species with guests having the opportunity to enjoy from above the water as well as from the underwater viewing platform.
The Mermaids will be appearing daily at Shark Bay until 2 October to provide guests with an insight about the mythology and ancient tales of Mermaids.
