Acclaimed Leonard Cohen show enters final stages of 2025 tour
The national tour of Cohen Noir is well underway, with just four dates left for audiences to experience this acclaimed Leonard Cohen tribute. Over the past 15 years, the production has sold out Sydney’s most iconic venues, including the Sydney Opera House, State Theatre and City Recital Hall, and continues to evolve into something truly special and unique.
Audiences have been mesmerised, leaving glowing reviews and heartfelt comments about this immersive concert event presented by three-time ARIA Award winners Monsieur Camembert.
An Immersive Tribute
In Cohen Noir, Leonard Cohen’s timeless songs are reimagined in a vivid, musically adventurous setting. A favourite audience moment is when they are surprised with Cohen’s own voice being woven through the performance, sharing his wit and poetry, as Monsieur Camembert’s Yaron Hallis responds in spoken word – creating a reflective dialogue between Cohen’s poetry and the live arrangements.. An 8-piece band of virtuosos, featuring layers of saxophones, flute, accordion, grand piano, strings, double bass, Mexican harp, guitars and drums, joined by the incredible Mongolian throat singer and horse-hair fiddle player, Bukhu.
