NEW ALBUM I WANT BLOOD ARRIVES OCTOBER 18
Jerry Cantrell’s new song, “Afterglow” arrives with a video created by award-winning artist Matt Mahurin, whose work is noted for blending realism with abstract and surreal elements, which shines through in the five-minute piece.
“The incredible Matt Mahurin and I created a moving piece of film to accompany the song,” Cantrell says, adding “Check it out. If you want blood, you got it.”
“Two of my all-time favorite videos I’ve directed are ‘No Excuses’ and ‘Angry Chair” for Alice In Chains in the early 1990’s. To be able to once again offer my visual work to Jerry’s ‘Afterglow’ some thirty years later was a blast. From opera aria to pop tune, everybody sees a movie playing in their mind’s eye when they listen to a song. Jerry inspired a welcome fever dream that I was grateful to lure out of my mind’s eye,” Mahurin shares. Mahurin’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Time, Rolling Stone, and his photographs are on permanent display at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
“Afterglow” is the second song from Cantrell’s upcoming album, I Want Blood, with “Vilified” debuting last month. The track, which features guest performances from Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) and Gil Sharone (Team Sleep, Stolen Babies), was praised by Revolver as “anxiety-stirring” and “eerie,” while Metal Hammer simply called it “brilliant.”
The album is available on CD, digitally, and multiple 2LP vinyl variants: https://bio.to/JerryCantrell. A bonus spoken word version of each song on I Want Blood is included with each vinyl release.

Thirty-Five years after its release, Dr. Feelgood stands as the last great rock record of the 1980’s, and one of the greatest rock records of all time. Recorded in Vancouver with Producer Bob Rock and released in 1989, this iconic album took
MÖTLEY CRÜE to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and earned a 6X PLATINUM certification in the US. The album cemented the newly sober band’s status as global superstars, hitting the Top 10 in Australia (PLATINUM), Canada (3X PLATINUM), Finland, Norway, New Zealand (PLATINUM), Sweden, Switzerland (GOLD) and the UK (GOLD).
With five massive hit singles that kept radio and MTV request lines busy, the Dr. Feelgood World Tour saw MÖTLEY CRÜE on the road and in the air on their own private jet for over 2 years. First single “Dr. Feelgood”, with its instantly memorable opening, catchy chorus, and gritty music video set the tone by reaching the top 10 on the US Hot 100 singles chart. Originally a Top 30 hit upon release, “Kickstart My Heart” went on to become MÖTLEY CRÜE’s most popular landmark track. From the buzz saw intro to the cheating-death lyrics and music video shot in a rare return to a club show at the world famous Whisky-a-go-go in Hollywood, it has now logged well over 1.5 Billion streams and can be heard nearly every day in movies, commercials, video games and sporting events around the world! The Hot 100 hits kept coming as “Without You” hit #8, “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) reached #19, and final single “Same Ol’ Situation (S.O.S.)” was accompanied by an music video capturing the fan excitement of a live CRÜE show.
The Dr. Feelgood World Tour kicked off at the now legendary Moscow Music Peace Festival in Russia and by the time the tour wrapped in late 1990, the band had played over 100 shows to over 2 Million faithful fans. Mötley Crüe continues to fill stadiums around the world with many classics from Dr. Feelgood in their setlist to this day!
The centrepiece of this 35th Anniversary campaign will be a Limited Edition Box Set available on LP & CD with the remastered version of the original album, as well as rare demos and live tracks. The box set also features a 24 page replica tour book with never before seen and never before published live and behind the scenes photos, a replica Dr. Feelgood Tour itinerary, poster, patch, backstage pass, live show handbill, press kit, medical envelope and guitar pick.
In addition to the box set, there will be a deluxe streaming version and various different configurations for fans of vinyl: an Independent Retail exclusive color vinyl, an alternative exclusive color vinyl with 3D Lenticular cover art, a Picture Disc Vinyl as well as Standard Black Vinyl. Last but not least, the anniversary edition will also be available as CD with 3D lenticular Art, as well as a Standard CD. All variants feature reimagined cover art showing 35 years of decay.
As the world gears up for the highly anticipated Limited Edition Box Set, the Crüeseum—Mötley Crüe’s ultimate haven for die-hard fans—administers a head-to-toe examination of the chart-topping, legacy-making, 6x Platinum release, Dr. Feelgood. JET NEW VIDEO AND SINGLE

The long-awaited return of JET rolls on, on the eve of the band’s EU, UK and US leg of their ‘Get Born’ 20th anniversary tour. Adding to the growing anticipation, the band now share their new single ‘Hurry Hurry’ – their first new material in 15 years – along with its b-side ‘Un’avventura’. Both tracks featured on a very limited 7” single which sold-out during JET’s shows in Australia earlier this year, where ‘Hurry Hurry’ also became a regular highlight of the live set.
‘Hurry Hurry’ is JET doing what they do best: gritty, groove-laden rock ‘n’ roll in the finest of traditions, played with the frantic pulse of a band eager to make their mark on the world – just as they did when they first made a phenomenal global impact. Now, though, there’s a masterly control to their rambunctious spirit which gives the track a tighter focus, while searing, Motown-esque female backing vocals complement the raspy power of Nic Cester’s topline.
Nic says, “‘Hurry Hurry’ is our first single in 15 years and a little appetiser while we continue to work on our upcoming album. We’ve been playing ‘Hurry Hurry’ live with a great response from our fans in Australia, we’re really looking forward to debuting it live at our overseas shows in Italy, the UK and the US.”
A searing shriek from Nic opens a free-spirited, Stax-style rock ‘n’ soul take on ‘Un’avventura’. With Nic performing in both English and Italian (he has lived in Italy for the past 15 years), JET’s version amplifies with the energy of Lucio Battisti’s original (and Wilson Pickett’s cover) without losing any of its innate charm.
‘Hurry Hurry’ also provides a first taste of JET’s new studio album, which is set to follow in 2025.
JET’s Australian ‘Get Born’ anniversary shows were rapturously received. Backseat Mafia’s review stated, “Nic Cester is of course a consummate and charming performer and Jet delivered the most energetic and enthralling performance filled with an energy that reflected their twenty-year ago younger selves.” Meanwhile, The Music described last year’s Melbourne performance as “one of the best gigs of the year.”
In addition to the UK and Ireland dates, listed below, JET have plenty more international touring on the schedule. They will play two shows in Italy at the end of September ahead of a sold out North American tour, returning to Australia to collaborate with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable night in November.

The accompanying video will have its YouTube premiere tomorrow at 6am AEST – check it out here.
“Something Good was a song I had a while back that I was harvesting for my solo album, I played it to Ruddy and he saw TSJ potential …so yet again it got swiped for a higher purpose ???? Ruddy took it to his studio and did a number on it, then it was unleashed on the band. It came up a treat! It’s super fun to play live as well ‘cause finally I have a song where I don’t have to play guitar. I thought lyrically it felt good for where we are at too.” Sarah McLeod
“It is such a great song, initially upon hearing the track, I couldn’t get it out of my head, and it was one of the demos we kept coming back to, and felt it had to be released, once again happily pushing our own boundaries.” Stu Rudd
The band is excited to hit the road for a number of key live dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, along with a bunch of full houses with the mighty Cold Chisel. See below for all details.
