The Arts Centre Gold Coast invites you to celebrate Neighbour Day at the Evandale Parklands behind The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Sunday 29 March 2015, form 8.00am to 10.00am.
Neighbour Day is a national celebration of community held every year on the last Sunday in March.
The Arts Centre Gold Coast thinks it’s a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours, especially around the Cultural Precinct and to help create a strong, safe community where people looked out for each other.
The Arts Centre general Manager Destry Puia supported the concept with ‘Because the Arts Centre is a great neighbour, we wanted to join in the annual celebration for Neighbour Day and invite the many thousands of neighbours that we have to reconnect with the Centre.
National Neighbour Day is a great opportunity for The Arts Centre to throw open our doors and welcome our neighbours in to see what goes on behind the scenes but also to talk about our future plans and the cultural precinct.’
Neighbours of the precinct are invited to enjoy a delicious pastry and coffee with your neighbours and reconnect with your neighbourhood.
The community you want starts at your front door.
Short formalities at 8.30am and an option to do a Back of House tour at 9.00am or 9.20am.
